Preliminary Data Suggests 60% Voter Turnout in House of Representatives Election

Kathmandu. The Election Commission has stated that preliminary information indicates a 60% voter turnout in the House of Representatives Election 2082.

Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ramprasad Bhandari provided this information during a press conference held by the Election Commission on Thursday evening.

'Preliminary information suggests that 60 percent of votes have been cast,' Bhandari said, 'The voting process was completed peacefully.'

The Commission announced that ballot boxes from all constituencies will be collected and counting will commence according to procedure.
