Mustang Reports Nearly 50% Voter Turnout by Early Afternoon

Pokhara. In Mustang, approximately 50 percent of voting has occurred so far. Lokendra Gyawali, Chief of the Election Office, informed that 49.35 percent of votes were cast by 1:15 PM.

According to him, 5,591 votes have been cast so far. He stated that there has been an encouraging participation of voters for the election.

Gyawali further informed that, as of now, 2,817 men, 2,773 women, and one person identifying as 'other' have cast their votes.

The Office of the Chief Election Officer has reported that voting has proceeded peacefully so far.
