TikToker Ratan Karki Questioned by Police for Campaigning During Silence Period in Chitwan

Chitwan. Police questioned TikToker Ratan Karki after campaign materials for a candidate were posted on social media in a manner suggesting campaigning during the silence period.

 Karki was questioned by the police on Wednesday on allegations of violating the election code of conduct.

DSP and spokesperson for the District Police Office, Chitwan, Rabindra Khanal stated that Karki was called in for questioning and released after necessary inquiries. Police released him after instructing him to remove the candidate-related materials published on social media during the silence period.
