Scooter Rider Killed in Collision with Bus on BP Highway in Sindhuli

Kathmandu. A scooter rider has died after being hit by a bus at Hirapani in Kamalamai Municipality-4, Sindhuli, on the BP Highway. The accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when a bus with license plate Ba. 4 Kha 3894 struck the scooter with license plate Ja. 10 Pa 923, resulting in the rider's death.

The deceased, a man estimated to be around 35 years old, has not yet been identified, DSP Suryaprakash Subedi of the District Police Office, Sindhuli, told Ratopati.

Police have arrested the bus driver, 41-year-old Rajkumar Majhi, whose bus was traveling from Kathmandu towards Marin. The scooter was traveling from Sindhuli towards Chiyabari.
