Lalitpur Metropolitan City Suspends Garbage Collection Due to Elections

Kathmandu. Lalitpur Metropolitan City has announced that all garbage collection and sanitation activities will be suspended tomorrow, Thursday. The Metropolitan City's Environment and Sanitation Branch issued a notice today informing that regular garbage collection work for Thursday has been postponed due to the House of Representatives Election, 2082.

According to the notice, the regular garbage collection and sanitation work had to be suspended due to the election. As the garbage collection work is postponed, the Metropolitan City has made a special request to the public not to dump waste indiscriminately on roads, public places, or open areas.
