Rastriya Prajatantra Party Leader Khushbu Oli Appeals for Support for Nationalist Forces in Jhapa

Jhapa. RPP leader Khushbu Oli has appealed to voters to support nationalist forces. Speaking at an election rally organized in Jhapa Constituency No. 4 on Monday, Oli, who is also a proportional representation candidate for the party, accused the country of becoming ideologically dependent since the establishment of the republic. 'This country, which was never colonized by anyone, has seemed like a slave to the ideas of neighbors at times and the West at other times since the republic came,' she said, 'The soil is not mortgaged, but the decisions here have been held hostage.'

During her address, Oli posed serious questions targeting the cadres of the major parties Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, and Maoist. She stated, 'If Congress had not abandoned the path of BP Koirala and Krishna Prasad Bhattarai, and if UML had not abandoned the nation-centric ideology of Madan Bhandari, the country would not be in this crisis today.'

Recalling the nationalism of BP and Madan Bhandari, she said, 'BP said that his neck and the King's neck are joined to save the nation; Madan Bhandari had to lose his life for advocating that there should be a King in the country. But today we are running after foreign ideologies. We do not need Stalin or Mao; we need the ideas of our own soil's leaders, BP and Madan.'

Oli advised voters not to cast their votes based on social media trends or anyone's temptation. 'If you vote based on the superficial trend or someone buying you, a situation may arise where we have to see the country broken tomorrow,' she said.

Mentioning that the country was once a common heritage of the King and the people, she emphasized the need to return to that 'common soul.' She asserted that true justice to BP and Madan Bhandari can only be done by voting for the nationalist camp.
