Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa Expresses Grief Over Nepali Worker's Death in UAE Attack

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has expressed deep sorrow over the death of a Nepali worker in the recent attack in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Thapa offered heartfelt tribute to the departed soul and profound condolences to the bereaved family through social media.

In a statement issued, Thapa urged all Nepali brothers and sisters in the region to exercise high vigilance and remain safe. He mentioned that necessary caution and coordination are essential for the safety of Nepali citizens in conflict-ridden and insecure areas.

Furthermore, Congress President Thapa drew the attention of the Government of Nepal, urging it to make diplomatic initiatives faster, more effective, and result-oriented. He demanded that the government take immediate action by prioritizing the safety of Nepalis abroad.

In addition, friends from the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) and the entire Nepali community have been requested to play an active role in identifying, assisting, and coordinating necessary support for Nepalis in distress.

The incident has increased concern among the Nepali community in the UAE, and stakeholders have stated that they are increasing their focus on the safety of Nepali citizens.
