Gold and Silver Prices Increase in Local Market

Kathmandu, February 17: The price of gold and silver has increased in the local market today. Compared to last Friday, the price of gold per tola has increased by Rs 5,600 and silver by Rs 245 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of hallmarked gold has been set at Rs 320,500 per tola today. Last Friday, hallmarked gold was traded at Rs 314,900 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver today has been set at Rs 5,985 per tola. Last Friday, silver was traded at Rs 5,740 per tola.

According to international media, an ounce of gold is currently trading at $5,278 in the international market, and the same amount of the white metal is trading at 94 US dollars.
