Motorcycle Recovered, Suspect Apprehended in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. Traffic police have taken into control one person involved in theft along with a motorcycle that was stolen from Chapagaun, Lalitpur, from Attarkhel, Kathmandu.

A red and black 220cc Pulsar motorcycle with number BA.PRA.02-021 PA 7694, which was stolen from the road section of Ward No. 11 Chapagaun, Godawari Municipality, Lalitpur District, on the 23rd of Mangsir, 2082 BS. Based on the application submitted by the owner with the description for search after their vehicle went missing, the Traffic Police Office had started a widespread search.

During the search, the motorcycle was found on Sunday afternoon on the road section of Ward No. 8 Gokarneshwor Municipality, Attarkhel, Kathmandu District. At the time of discovery, the person involved in the theft had changed the original number plate of the motorcycle to BA.PRA.02-019 PA 8587 and was riding it when traffic police found it.

The police have sent the recovered motorcycle along with the seizure report and the person involved in the theft to Chapagaun Police Circle, Lalitpur for further investigation and necessary legal action.
