Labor Culture Party Chairman Hark Sampang Claims Rastriya Swatantra Party is Not New

Kathmandu. Hark Sampang, Chairman of the Labor Culture Party, commented that the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is not a new party. Addressing a program organized in Lalitpur on Saturday, Sampang claimed that although the RSP and its leaders call themselves new, they have already served as members of parliament and ministers without achieving anything, thus asserting they are not new.

He also stated that change will not come from voting for the old parties. ‘The party that has been ringing the bell also calls itself new, but it is not new,’ he said. ‘Its chairman has already become the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister. Therefore, that party is not new. When he was Home Minister, he himself was implicated in the cooperative scandal. Doesn't GB Rai need to be found and brought in?’

Sampang also questioned how many times Lamichhane would promise to arrest GB Rai. ‘After becoming Home Minister, how many times will he bring GB to justice?’ he questioned, adding, ‘It seems GB is only being defamed. Who is GB Rai, where has he gone? He does nothing. Did the MPs of that same party speak in favor of farmers, the poor, and the distressed? They will only cry out for the Prime Minister and Home Minister positions by forming the same old type of coalition. They tasted it before, and it was bitter.’

Sampang further claimed that the country will not progress through mere talk, asserting that the Labor Culture Party is a party of labor, and only labor can build the nation.
