Nepal Railway Service Suspended for Three Days Ahead of Federal Elections

Dhanusha. Nepal Railway Company Limited has announced that the train service operating on the Janakpur-Jaynagar section will be completely suspended for three days, targeting the upcoming House of Representatives elections.

According to a notice issued today by the company's central office in Janakpurdham, the train service operating on the Bhangaha-Janakpur-Jaynagar section will be closed for three days, from Tuesday, Falgun 19 to Thursday, Falgun 21, with the objective of ensuring peace and security during the House of Representatives elections scheduled for Falgun 21.

The company has apologized for any inconvenience caused to passengers during this period and requested all concerned parties to take note. The notice also mentioned that regular train service will resume as usual from Friday, Falgun 22. The company has requested passengers to arrange for alternative transportation during the period when the train service is suspended.
