Gold Prices Dip Slightly in Local Market While Silver Sees Minor Increase

Kathmandu. Today, the price of gold has slightly decreased in the local market, while the price of silver has seen a minor increase. Compared to Thursday, the price of gold has dropped by Rs 500, and the price of silver has increased by Rs 15.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, today the price for one tola of hallmark gold is set at Rs 314,900, and the price for one tola of silver is set at Rs 5,740. On Thursday, the price per tola of gold was set at Rs 315,400, and the price of one tola of silver was set at Rs 5,725.

On Wednesday, the price for one tola of hallmark gold was set at Rs 314,900, and the price for one tola of silver was set at Rs 5,585. On Monday, one tola of hallmark gold was traded at Rs 313,500, and one tola of silver at Rs 5,595.

According to international media, in the international market today, one ounce of gold is trading at US$5,187, and the same quantity of silver is trading at US$90.
