CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel Pledges Transformation of Public Hope into Unwavering Trust in Dang

Dang. CPN-UML General Secretary and candidate for Dang Constituency No. 2, Shankar Pokharel, has pledged to transform the hopes and expectations of the people into unwavering trust. Addressing an election rally organized in his birthplace, Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-19, he urged voters to re-elect him for the prosperity and developed future of Dang.

Addressing the rally organized by the Ward Committee, Pokharel stated that he views the people's votes not merely as a means to attain office, but as an opportunity to fulfill a great responsibility. Claiming to have discharged the responsibilities entrusted to him with honesty in the past, he presented the progress made in the road, irrigation, drinking water, education, and health sectors of Dang as achievements of his tenure. He clarified that his main goal now is to establish Dang not just as an administrative center, but as a strong economic hub.

Pokharel informed that he has prioritized the construction of the Gwar Khola Multipurpose Reservoir Project for the modernization of Dang's agricultural sector. While outlining the plan to strengthen the local economy by ensuring irrigation facilities, he called for unity above all parties and ideologies for development. He argued that development is not the agenda of just one party, but the shared dream of all residents of Dang.

Similarly, addressing another rally in Tulsipur-16, Pokharel urged the electorate to vote for a leader who possesses the capacity to directly implement demands rather than one who has to lobby ministries carrying a memorandum of demands.

At the event, UML Central Committee member Komal Oli and leader Bhagwat Bishwasi expressed confidence that Pokharel's leadership would accelerate the development of Dang.
