Army Chief Inspects Eastern Division Headquarters, Reviews Election Preparedness

Sunsari. Army Chief General Ashokh Raj Sigdel inspected the Eastern Division Headquarters in Itahari on Tuesday.

During the inspection, he held discussions and interactions with the officials of the Koshi Province Election Command Post regarding various aspects of the upcoming House of Representatives elections, the Eastern Division Headquarters informed.

Army Chief Sigdel directed that high alertness and effective security arrangements be ensured to conduct the elections in a free, fair, and fearless environment.

The Eastern Division Commander, Gaurav Kumar KC, briefed the Army Chief about the preparations for the upcoming elections, the security situation, sensitive areas, and the plan regarding the deployment of manpower and resources.
