Rabi Lamichhane Urges Construction Entrepreneurs to Focus on Development Work Over Issuing Statements

Sunsari. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has urged construction entrepreneurs to focus on development work rather than issuing statements in response. Addressing a party program organized in Ilam on Tuesday, he commented that some quarters became anxious when the party made its views public, claiming that the country has now moved towards the path of development and construction. 

He urged construction entrepreneurs to prepare to work in two or three shifts, day and night, and suggested preparing to purchase new equipment if the necessary equipment is insufficient. Chairman Lamichhane clarified that work will now proceed according to the law, stating that no one will be tied up with a 'rope,' but rather will be bound by the law to work. 

RSP senior leader Balen Shah had previously stated that construction entrepreneurs who do not build roads would be tied to a tree and put to work. Chairman Lamichhane offered this clarification after the Federation of Contractors' Associations of Nepal objected to Shah's statement. He urged construction entrepreneurs to focus on purchasing equipment without worrying about security, as the country is now moving forward on the path of development and construction.
