One Dead, One Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Accident in Nawalparasi

Nawalparasi. One person has died and another has been seriously injured in a traffic accident in Gaindakot, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East).

District Police Office Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) Police Superintendent Yuvraj Khadka stated that 18-year-old Bizen Pulami, a resident of Devchuli Municipality-11, died this morning in a motorcycle accident on the East-West Highway in front of Janaki Gas in Gaindakot Municipality-7.

Seventeen-year-old Raj Bik, a resident of Kawasoti Municipality-17, was seriously injured. Police Superintendent Khadka informed that the motorcycle with registration number Na 63 Pa 9390, heading from Gaindakot towards Rajahar, hit the divider and overturned, after which it was hit by a bus with registration number Lu 2 Kha 4461 coming from Sunauli towards Kathmandu.

Both the motorcycle rider and the pillion passenger were rushed to the hospital in critical condition following the accident. Motorcycle driver Bizen Pulami was declared dead by the doctor during treatment. The other injured person is currently receiving treatment.
