Four Arrested, Including One Indian National, in Connection with Three-Month-Old Robbery in Siraha

Siraha. Police have arrested four individuals, including one Indian national, on suspicion of involvement in a robbery that occurred three months ago in Belhakatti, Kalyanpur Municipality-12, here. The District Police Office, Siraha, publicly presented the accused during a press conference on Sunday.

Police stated that two locally made pistols, four rounds of ammunition, approximately 30 grams of a brown substance resembling heroin, and mobile phones were recovered from the arrested individuals. District Police Office Information Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramesh Bahadur Pal informed that investigations are underway against the arrested persons under cases related to robbery, attempted murder, illegal possession of arms, and narcotics.

On the 3rd of Mangsir, an armed group entered the house of local resident Bhola Mahato and looted gold, silver jewelry, mobile phones, and a drone camera worth approximately 6 lakh rupees. Two people were seriously injured in the incident when shots were fired. Police have seized the auto-rickshaw used in the incident and stated that efforts are ongoing to trace other absconding individuals.
