Promotional Video for Nepal's Tourism Displayed on South Korea's High-Speed KTX Trains

Kathmandu. A promotional video prepared by the Nepali Embassy in South Korea regarding the promotion of Nepal's tourism has been displayed on South Korean trains.

The video was shown on KTX High-Speed Train No. 101, which operates on the Seoul-Busan route. The 17-second video, which has been screening since February 1, was proposed by Nepal's Ambassador to South Korea, Dr. Shivamaya Tumbahangphe, to the CEO of Korail during a meeting on April 14, 2025. With the cooperation of Korail and Yonhap News Agency, the Embassy has succeeded in getting the video screened for free at least twice a day on the trains operating on the Seoul-Busan route by Korail until February 2026.

The Embassy stated that the video includes video clips of Lumbini, Mount Everest, Chitwan National Park, Swayambhunath, and Boudhanath Stupa, as well as Nepali art and culture.
