Nepali Congress President Thapa Affirms 'Once a Nepali, Always a Nepali' Stance

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa has stated that once a Nepali, always a Nepali.

Speaking at an interaction program titled 'Our Pledge, Your Question' organized in Kathmandu on Thursday, President Thapa said, 'Once a Nepali, always a Nepali. We will amend all necessary constitutional provisions and laws for this purpose.'

President Thapa mentioned that the law to grant citizenship to Non-Resident Nepalis (NRNs) was brought under the leadership of the Congress, and he added that it would be further refined.
