Nepal Women's Cricket Team Returns Home After Early Exit from Thailand Asia Cup Rising Stars Tournament

The national women's cricket team has returned home after participating in the Women's Asia Cup Rising Stars Cricket Tournament held in Thailand.

The national women's cricket team returned home on Wednesday after being eliminated from the tournament following three consecutive defeats. In the tournament, Nepal was defeated by Pakistan 'A' in the first match, by the UAE in the second match, and by India 'A' in the third match.

Upon returning home, Pooja Mahato, the captain of the national women's cricket team, stated that although they failed to secure a win in the tournament, they gained significant experience.

She mentioned that the Nepali team made a good effort and succeeded in challenging the bigger teams.

Vice-captain Pooja Mahato was sent to Thailand with the responsibility of captaining the national women's cricket team after the team's captain, Indu Barma, was injured.
