CPN-UML Chairman Oli States Election Environment Not Yet Fully Assured

Kathmandu. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has stated that the environment for elections is still not fully assured. Speaking to reporters at Bhadrapur Airport on Sunday, Chairman Oli mentioned that while the party is preparing for the elections, a completely secure environment has not yet been established.

Oli remarked that the government needs to be aware of many aspects regarding this. 'If elections are held, we will participate; the environment for elections cannot be definitively stated yet.' However, he added that he believes elections will take place now.

Previously, Chairman Oli had met with voters in Kamal, Gauradaha, and various localities of Gauriganj in Jhapa Constituency No. 5. The former Prime Minister and UML Chairman Oli, who is a candidate from Jhapa Constituency No. 5 for the upcoming House of Representatives election, has been elected from this same region since the 2048 election.

Oli stated that his plan is to meet with all voters in Jhapa Constituency No. 5, if possible.
