Western Disturbance Affects Nepal, Bringing Partial Cloud Cover Across Country

Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that Nepal is currently under the general influence of a Western Disturbance. Due to this influence, there is partial cloud cover across the country at present.

This afternoon, fog and mist will persist in some parts of the Terai region until noon. Generally cloudy conditions will prevail in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while the remaining hilly and Himalayan regions will experience partial cloud cover. The Terai region will remain mostly clear.

There is a possibility of light rain accompanied by snowfall in one or two locations in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

Tonight, haze will be present in a few locations in the Terai region. High hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces will have partial cloud cover, while the rest of the regions will be mostly clear. There is a possibility of light rain accompanied by snowfall in one or two locations in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
