Dhodhara Chandani Municipality Clinches Fifth Bhimdutt Cup T-20 Cricket Tournament Title

Kanchanpur. Dhodhara Chandani Municipality has won the title of the fifth Bhimdutt Cup T-20 Cricket Tournament.

In the final match held today at the covered hall ground in Mahendranagar, Dhodhara Chandani secured the title by defeating Bhimdutt Municipality by one wicket. Batting first after winning the toss, Bhimdutt Municipality was all out for 106 runs in 19.1 overs. Nitesh Bista scored 24 runs and Narendra Rana scored 24 runs for Bhimdutt. In bowling, Labbi Bhatt of Dhodhara Chandani delivered an excellent performance, taking 6 wickets alone. Kailash Singh took 2 wickets.

Dhodhara Chandani achieved the target of 107 runs in 19 overs, losing 9 wickets. Sajan Bitalu scored the highest 33 runs for Dhodhara, while Kailashsingh Saud made 29 runs. In bowling, Kiran Chand took 4 wickets and Prakash Bista took 2 wickets for Bhimdutt. In the match, Labbi Bhatt of Dhodhara Chandani was declared the Player of the Match. Milan Bohara of Bhimdutt was declared the Player of the Tournament, Prem Od of Punarbas was the Best Batsman, Labbi Bhatt of Dhodhara Chandani was the Best Bowler, and Dhirendra Bista of Belauri was declared the Emerging Player.

The winning team, Dhodhara Chandani, received NPR 177,777, while the runner-up, Bhimdutt Municipality, received NPR 77,777. The prizes were distributed to the winners by Bhimdutt Municipality Mayor Padam Bogati, Chairman of the organizing Kanchanpur District Cricket Association Birendra Bahadur Chand, and others.
