Former King Gyanendra Arrives in Kathmandu via Helicopter Amidst Supporter Gathering

Kathmandu. Former King Gyanendra Shah has arrived in Kathmandu from Jhapa. He landed at Tribhuvan International Airport via a Kailash helicopter. Royalists gathered in front of Tribhuvan International Airport to welcome him.

Earlier, it was announced that he would arrive in Kathmandu via a Buddha Air flight. However, an official from the airport security office told Ratopati that Shah decided to come by helicopter because the flight was going to be delayed due to weather conditions.

Former King's supporters have prepared a welcome outside the airport. Police have adopted a high security alert, anticipating potential unruly activities during the demonstration.
