Nepali Congress VP Sharma Urges Unity Ahead of Elections, Citing Party Renewal

Banke. Nepali Congress Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma has urged party members to forget conflict and disagreement and unite for the elections. Addressing a large district convention organized by the Nepali Congress Banke Election Mobilization and Publicity Main Committee in Nepalgunj today, he stated that the party has transformed and approached the public after the special general convention.

Sharma mentioned that Congress has nominated nearly two-thirds new candidates this time. "Congress is the party that has truly reformed after the Gen-Z rebellion," he said. "Congress is the party that unites the nation. The government to be formed now must instill hope and confidence in the citizens, and Congress has that strength. History is a witness, Congress possesses the capability to maintain coordination, cooperation, and unity."

At the convention, Nepali Congress Central Committee member Gopal Dahit, Congress Lumbini Province Vice President and Election Mobilization Main Committee Coordinator Raju Khanal, Nepali Congress Banke Constituency No. 3 candidate Amarsingh Pun, Constituency No. 1 candidate Narayan Prasad Gaudel, Constituency No. 2 candidate Sudhanshu Koirala, and proportional representation candidate Dukhiram Loniya urged people to vote for Congress to address public aspirations and protect the constitution.

The convention, chaired by Nepali Congress Banke Acting President Gopalprasad Adhikari, saw participation from leading activists across the district.
