Nawalparasi Administration Warns Ravi Lamichhane's Party Against Election Code Violations During Public Event

Nawalparasi. The District Administration Office, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta West) has cautioned the Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, against conducting activities violating the election code of conduct during his scheduled program.

The administration issued a notice today, stating that it had received information that the RSP would organize a 'Public Contact and Bell Greeting Program' in the district today. The notice directed them to refrain from such activities.

The letter, signed by Assistant Chief District Officer and Election Code of Conduct Monitoring Officer Poshan Raj Bhandari, reminded all concerned that the Election Code of Conduct has been in effect since Magh 14, 2082, as mandated by the Election Commission to ensure the upcoming House of Representatives election is conducted in a free, fair, and fearless environment.

The notice issued by the administration stated, 'Information has been received that the 'Public Contact and Bell Greeting Program' of the Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rabi Lamichhane, is scheduled in this district on Magh 27, 2082. Therefore, all concerned are hereby informed not to conduct or cause to be conducted any activities that attract or violate the Election Code of Conduct, 2082, in this regard.'

The administration has increased monitoring, cautioning against potential violations of the code of conduct by political party programs close to the election.
