Weather Forecast: Partly Cloudy with Thunderstorms in Some Areas

Kathmandu. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated that there is a partial influence of a low-pressure system in the upper atmosphere around the western parts of Nepal and local winds.

Due to this, it is generally cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly regions of Gandaki and Karnali provinces, partly cloudy in the remaining hilly regions, and mostly clear in the Terai regions.

This afternoon, the Himalayan and hilly regions of the country will be generally cloudy, and the Terai regions will be partly cloudy. There is a possibility of moderate thunderstorms in a few places in Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in the Himalayan and hilly regions of the country. The Terai regions of Madhesh Province and Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are likely to experience hot days.

Tonight, Koshi and Madhesh provinces, as well as the Himalayan regions of the country, will be generally cloudy, the hilly regions partly cloudy, and the remaining Terai regions mostly clear. There is a possibility of light rain in one or two places in the Himalayan and hilly regions of Koshi and Madhesh provinces, as well as Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, the division stated.
