Rising Stars Anit Padha and Vishal Jethwa Cast in Maddock Films' Horror-Comedy Universe Feature

Mumbai. Rising Bollywood actors Anit Padha and Vishal Jethwa will be seen in the new film 'Shakti Shalini' from Maddock Films' popular horror-comedy universe. In this new installment of Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik's superhit universe, Anit will play the lead supernatural female character, while Vishal will appear as her romantic partner.

Earlier, Kiara Advani's name was associated with this project until October 2024, but Anit has now bagged the role, replacing Kiara. The film will be directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, famous for 'Munjya'. 

It is reported that the story of the film will be based on the folklore of the Chambal region, prioritizing divine powers and high-octane action. Although Anit and Vishal previously worked together in Kajol's 'Salaam Venky', this will be their first collaboration as the lead pair.

Anit, who is at an important juncture in her career, is currently prioritizing her studies alongside acting. Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Political Science, she will only begin shooting for the film from March 2026 after her exams conclude. 

This film is expected to be a major 'turning point' commercially for Vishal as well, alongside Anit. Besides 'Shakti Shalini', Anit will also be seen in the courtroom drama 'Nyay' and Manish Sharma's upcoming film.
