Cocktail 2 Recovers 50 Percent Budget Before Release

Mumbai. Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna starrer romantic film 'Cocktail 2' is one of the anticipated films. Directed by Homi Adajania, this film has been made as a sequel to the hit film 'Cocktail' released in 2012.

Recently, the trailer of the film was released. Which has increased the curiosity among the audience. The film has already recovered 50 percent of its total budget before its release.

'Cocktail 2' is considered one of the most expensive romantic films in Bollywood till date. According to a report by Indian media 'Bollywood Hungama', the total budget of this film is around Rs 150 crore. Out of this, the film production cost is Rs 95 crore, the remuneration of the actors (Shahid, Kriti and Rashmika) is Rs 35 crore, and the expenditure on promotion and advertising is Rs 20 crore.

The film has already collected half of its total budget, i.e., around Rs 75 crore, by selling theater, digital, and music rights before its release.

Producer Dinesh Vijan has made 'Cocktail 2' on a grand scale. The film's shooting was completed in just 70 days in various beautiful locations around the world. The production team has stated that special attention has been paid to the locations, music, and the style of the actors to provide the audience with an excellent experience in the cinema hall.

There was a rumor on social media that a lesbian love story between Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna is shown in the film. The film team clarified this matter during the trailer launch event.

Actress Kriti Sanon said - 'When two boys are together, people call them friends, but people are not ready to believe that two girls can only be friends, which is a sad thing.'

Maddock Films's banner 'Cocktail 2' is releasing in cinema halls on June 19 this month.
