Madhesi Commission Submits Seventh Annual Report to Madhes Province Chief

Dhanusha. The Madhesi Commission has presented its seventh annual report, detailing the activities, initiatives, and achievements accomplished in the fiscal year 2081/82, to the Madhes Province Chief, Dr. Surendra Labh Karna. At a program organized today at the Province Chief's office, Commission Chairman Jeevachh Sah submitted the annual report for the fiscal year 2081/82 in accordance with Article 294, Sub-article (3) of the Constitution of Nepal.

The report comprehensively covers the Commission's actions in the areas of protecting the rights of the Madhesi community, promoting social justice, inclusive development, and policy formulation. During the program, Province Chief Karna highlighted the crucial role of the Commission in ensuring the welfare and rights of the Madhesi community. He emphasized the need for relevant bodies to give serious attention to implementing the suggestions and conclusions included in the report.

The Province Chief's Office's Acting Secretary, Shatrudhan Yadav, informed that the report is expected to guide the overall development, rights promotion of the Madhesi community, and further enhance the effectiveness of state policies and programs. High-ranking officials from the provincial government, officials, and employees of the Madhesi Commission were present at the program.
