Nepali Congress General Secretary Urges Vote for Transformation at Kathmandu Rally

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress General Secretary Pradeep Paudel has urged people to vote for the Congress party so that the nation can be transformed. Speaking at an election rally in Constituency No. 5 in Kathmandu on Saturday, Paudel claimed that his party has changed as desired by the people and appealed for votes for Congress to transform the country.

He said, ‘I want to urge all friends of the Congress – the Congress has become as you wished. The transformation you sought in the Congress, that transformation has happened in the Congress. Now the transformed Congress wants to transform the country. For that, please provide strength and power by casting your vote.’

General Secretary Paudel also asserted that the transformation of the country is possible because a mature younger generation has taken the leadership in the Nepali Congress. ‘If there is no maturity in politics, only impulse, the country cannot move in the right direction. Decisions cannot be made in the right manner. Especially, we who are leading the Congress now are also from the later generation, comparatively speaking. We claim that we have been involved in the movement to transform Nepal and institutionalize democracy in Nepal since childhood,’ he said.

General Secretary Paudel, who is also the candidate for Kathmandu Constituency No. 5 from the Nepali Congress, also directed party leaders and workers to focus their efforts on ensuring votes are cast in favor of the Congress for the transformation of the country.
