Madhav Kumar Nepal Stresses Prioritizing Employment Promotion

Kathmandu. Nepali Communist Party (NCP) Co-coordinator and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has stated that the state should prioritize areas of employment promotion.

Inaugurating the convention of the Nepal Gold Silver Handicraft Entrepreneurs Association in Kathmandu on Saturday, Nepal said that as people are forced to wander the world due to lack of employment, the state should prioritize areas of employment promotion within the country. 

He stated that special attention needs to be paid so that no business is adversely affected. He mentioned that if we can produce and consume within our own country and export abroad, the import-centric economy can become export-oriented. He stated that the entire industry and business must flourish for the expansion of the country's economy and increase in revenue. 

He expressed the view that if the country's industries and businesses can flourish, citizens will also become economically strong and their purchasing power will increase.
