Nepali Congress Candidate Urges Unity to Secure Victory for 'Tree' Symbol in Lalitpur

Jitendra Kumar Shrestha, the Nepali Congress candidate for Lalitpur Constituency No. 3, has called upon all party workers and well-wishers to unite to ensure the victory of the Nepali Congress's 'Tree' symbol in the upcoming elections. Addressing a program in Lalitpur, Shrestha clarified that the party's ideology and development agenda are their main strengths. During his address, Shrestha placed special emphasis on coordination between the local level and the federal government. He expressed confidence that only close collaboration with Lalitpur Metropolitan City Mayor Chiribabu Maharjan and Godawari Municipality Mayor Gajendra Maharjan could accelerate development in this constituency. He is committed to making Lalitpur a model district by integrating the successful experiences of local representatives with his own political activism. He pointed out the necessity of 'team work' to complete development projects. Discussing the philosophy behind the party's election symbol, the 'Tree,' Shrestha stated that the tree is not just a symbol but a representation of the candidate's personality and the glorious history of the party. Addressing the workers, he directed them to rise above personal interests and focus the election campaign on the party's flag and symbol. He said, 'We are currently in an election campaign. I have repeatedly requested everyone, rather than us speaking too much, this candidacy of mine is just one character. You are the candidates; the election symbol of the Nepali Congress, the Tree, is the candidate; the Nepali Congress with the four-star flag carrying the ideology is the Nepali Congress. Therefore, it is the duty of all of you to stand within that ideology and ensure the victory of the one who has come with the Tree symbol; I am just one character. Therefore, I humbly request you, and I also want to express my gratitude, Jitendra Kumar is just one character, the Tree symbol is ours. I am extremely delighted by the pledge you have taken to vote for and win the Tree symbol.' He mentioned that the 'Tree' symbol has a deep impression even on the new generation.
