Nepali Congress President Thapa Stresses Door-to-Door Campaign for Election Victory

Kaski. Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has stated that if the party's message is effectively delivered to every household, a spectacular victory for the Congress in the upcoming elections is assured. Addressing the Gandaki Province meeting organized in Pokhara, he made it clear that the results of the next election will depend on the activism of the leaders and cadres.

Thapa directed the party members to engage with a special plan to woo voters who were displeased with the Congress in the previous election and new voters. Recalling that 2.7 million voters supported the Congress in the last election, he claimed that the Congress would become the leading force if an additional 4-5 lakh voters could be added.

'Some voters have distanced themselves due to dissatisfaction with our decisions; it is necessary to meet them and explain the situation,' Thapa said. He urged the cadres to engage in dialogue not just on social media but also at the doorsteps of the people.

Speaking on internal disputes and factionalism within the party, Thapa declared that there are no more factions in the Congress. He committed that past alignments during conventions would no longer hold significance and assured that no one would face discrimination.

He called upon everyone to forget the bitterness and agitation seen during the convention period and unite wholeheartedly to contest the elections.
