State-of-the-Art Five-Star Hotel and Casino to be Built in Mahottari's Jaleshwar

Jaleshwar. A state-of-the-art five-star hotel, 'Shangrila Premier Resort & Casino,' worth NPR 1.20 billion, is set to be constructed in Prakouli, Jaleshwar, Mahottari.

With the objective of promoting and developing the tourism sector of Madhesh Province, the hotel, being built with investment from the Satya Group, will feature 75 international standard luxury rooms, an international-level casino targeting foreign tourists, and an advanced banquet hall and premium club for weddings and corporate conferences.

Dharma Mandal, Managing Director of the group, informed that more than 200 local youths will receive direct employment after the construction of the hotel. The hotel, which is being built on approximately 22 katthas of land, will be financed with 70 percent bank loan and 30 percent equity from the Satya Group, according to Managing Director Mandal. It is reported that the land purchase and mapping for the hotel have already been completed.

While briefing journalists about the hotel construction in Janakpurdham today, Managing Director Mandal stated that this hotel is being built according to a long-term plan to make it a major center for accommodation and entertainment for tourists from Janakpur, Jaleshwar, surrounding areas, and border regions. It is expected that commercial transactions in the region will increase due to the construction of this hotel.
