Progressive Democratic Party Expresses Deep Sorrow Over Passing of Former PM Baburam Bhattarai's Father

Kathmandu. The Progressive Democratic Party (Pragatisheel Loktantrik Party - ProloPa) has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Bhoj Prasad Bhattarai, the father of former Prime Minister and party guardian Dr. Baburam Bhattarai.

A condolence statement issued on Thursday by the party's Chairman Council member Sudan Kirati mentioned that his passing at the age of 97 has deeply saddened the entire party structure. 

Kirati stated that the life of the late Bhattarai exemplified the profound, silent contribution of a guardian to the success of their children and society, expressing the view that although he is no longer physically present, he will remain a source of inspiration for society.

The statement highly praised his contribution as the father who gave birth, nurtured, and guided a visionary and influential personality like Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, offering heartfelt tribute. Furthermore, the party extended sincere condolences to the bereaved family during this tragic time.
