CPN-UML Secretary Bhattarai States Parliament Restoration is a Path to Constitutional Stability

Kathmandu. CPN-UML Secretary and House of Representatives candidate for Kathmandu Constituency No. 4, Dr. Rajan Bhattarai, has expressed the view that the restoration of parliament is a means to return democracy and the constitution to a smooth path.

Speaking at a press conference organized by Press Chautari Nepal for candidates in the Kathmandu Valley in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Bhattarai stated that UML is still in favor of parliament restoration on policy grounds.

“We are confident that this will bring democracy and the constitution back onto a smooth path,” Bhattarai said. However, he also clarified that UML will never shy away from the process of going to elections to be endorsed by the people.

“UML will not run away from going to elections to be endorsed by the people,” Bhattarai stated. Dr. Bhattarai expressed confidence that UML will win most of the seats in the Kathmandu Valley and urged voters to cast their ballots with judicious sentiment, free from any agitation, and to fulfill their responsibility to protect democracy.
