Speculation Rises Over 'Kalki 2898 AD' Sequel: Sai Pallavi Reportedly Eyed to Replace Deepika Padukone

Mumbai. A new debate has started in Bollywood and Tollywood regarding the sequel to the film 'Kalki 2898 AD,' which created a worldwide sensation at the box office. There is talk that Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who played the lead role of Sumathi (Sam-80) in the first part of the film, will not be seen in the sequel.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, preparations are underway to offer the role to popular South Indian film actress Sai Pallavi in place of Deepika. The character of Sumathi was left at a very crucial juncture at the end of the first part of the film, which ensures that this role will be even more powerful in the second part.

Although official information regarding why Deepika is leaving the sequel has not been released, some media reports cite the volume of the role or creative differences as the reason.
