Three Minors Apprehended in Tanahun for Stealing Parked Motorcycle in Pokhara

Pokhara. Police have taken three minors into custody in Aambukhairani, Tanahun, for stealing a parked motorcycle in Pokhara. They were arrested along with the Pulsar motorcycle bearing registration number Ga 6 Pa 6624, which was stolen on Magh 10 from in front of a shop located in Ghotghote, Ward No. 29 of Pokhara Metropolitan City.

Immediately after Sitaram Shrestha, a resident of Musitunda, reported his missing motorcycle, the Area Police Office, Shishuwa, Kaski, initiated an investigation. The District Police Office, Kaski, stated that a thorough study of CCTV footage from around the scene revealed that three minors had stolen the motorcycle.

During the search operation, Kaski Police coordinated with the Area Police Office, Aambukhairani, in Tanahun. They were taken into custody along with the motorcycle at approximately 4:00 AM on Monday from Ganesh Tole in Aambukhairani-2, along the Prithvi Highway.

Police Deputy Superintendent and Information Officer Hari Bahadur Basnet informed that further investigation is underway against the minors, with a five-day remand extended by the Kaski District Court for the offense of theft.
