Gold and Silver Prices Hit Record Highs in Local Market

Kathmandu. The price of gold and silver set a new record in the local market today. Compared to Thursday, the price per tola of gold increased by Rs 9,200, and silver increased by Rs 320.

According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers of Nepal, the price of one tola of hallmark gold today stands at Rs 301,400, and the price of the same amount of silver is fixed at Rs 6,190.

Last Wednesday, the price of one tola of hallmark gold was Rs 295,100, and the price of the same amount of silver was Rs 5,920. On Tuesday, the price of one tola of hallmark gold was Rs 284,700, and the price of the same amount of silver was Rs 5,880.

Last Sunday, one tola of gold was traded at Rs 278,800, and the same quantity of silver was traded at Rs 5,625. On Monday, one tola of gold was bought and sold at Rs 282,000, and the same quantity of the white metal was traded at Rs 5,810.

According to international media, one ounce of gold is currently trading at $4,960 in the international market, and the same quantity of the white metal is trading at 98 US dollars.
