'Accord should reflect all-side demands'

Kathmandu, Dec 11: At a time when some representatives and government signed a 10-point accord relating to reform in administration, election, and politics, some members of the Gen Z groups are still voicing lack of inclusion and wider participation in the accord.

Practical, transparent and participatory agreement should be reached between the government and Gen Z representatives, they argued.

At a news conference organised here on Thursday, a representative of Gen Z Group, Ajay Sodari, shared that there was no participation of his group in the process to draft the agreement inked on Wednesday. He argued they had not launched the protest only for the election.

Similarly, another Gen Z representative Rabi Kiran Hamal urged the government to pay heed to plights of martyr families and youths.

Sarishma Thapa stressed that the situation of signing the agreement but not implementing it should be ended. A 10-point agreement was inked between the government and Gen Z representatives on Wednesday.
