Police Destroy Cannabis Plants in Achham District

Massive Cannabis Destruction Operation

Police in Achham district have destroyed approximately 1,800 naturally grown cannabis plants in a special operation. The destruction took place on Sunday in Mangalsen Municipality-14, specifically in Kalagaun, Daijepani and Bhagawatitol areas. The District Police Office in Kailali confirmed the complete eradication of these illegal plants.

Community-Police Collaboration

The operation was conducted under the leadership of Mangalsen Municipality Deputy Chief Sangita Rawalsodari, with active participation from local representatives and social workers. A police team from the temporary Kalagaun police post in Achham carried out the destruction as part of their special campaign against illegal cannabis cultivation.

Ongoing Anti-Drug Efforts

This action follows the "Community Police Partnership" concept, where Achham police have been consistently working to eliminate illegal cannabis plantations across the district. The operation demonstrates the authorities' continued commitment to combating drug-related activities in the region.
