Army Rescues Five Pilgrims in Sundarijal, Kathmandu
The Nepali Army successfully rescued five individuals who were stranded in a stream near the Sundarimai Temple in Sundarijal, Kathmandu. On Tuesday morning at 2:30 AM, the army safely rescued four Indian and one Nepali pilgrim who were trapped in the middle of the stream near the temple.
The victims had gotten stuck while bathing when the flow of the Aakashi stream suddenly increased. The rescue team, mobilized by the Shri Chandranath Battalion, carried out the operation with the support of other security agencies and locals, according to the Nepali Army.
