Agni Group Inaugurates New Logistics Center in Hetauda; Launches Mahindra’s New Vehicles

Kathmandu – Agni Group has inaugurated a new Logistics Center in Hetauda under Agni Logistics Pvt. Ltd., while also unveiling two new Mahindra vehicles, the Mahindra Bolero Neo SUV and the Mahindra Zoro EV, through Agni Incorporated Pvt. Ltd. A special "Logistics Inauguration and Product Launch Ceremony" held last Wednesday in Hetauda marked the opening of the new center and the public launch of the vehicles.

The event was attended by Bagmati Province Chief Secretary Bhupal Baral, Agni Group Chairman Cabinet Shrestha, Managing Director Susan Shrestha, Executive Director Arjun Prasad Sharma, Vice President Veda Satasya Shrestha, Mahindra & Mahindra’s Regional Manager for Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh Chaitanya Kagalkar, logistics experts, corporate clients, and other dignitaries.

Chief Secretary Baral and Chairman Shrestha jointly unveiled a commemorative plaque to inaugurate the Logistics Center, while Mahindra’s two new vehicles, the Mahindra Zoro EV and the Mahindra Bolero Neo, were officially introduced in Nepal.

Mahindra Bolero Neo: A Versatile SUV for Nepal

The Mahindra Bolero Neo features a 1493cc mHAWK100 BSVI engine, third-generation Scorpio chassis, a 384-liter spacious boot, 7-seater configuration, and a premium Italian leather interior. Designed for both commercial and family use, it promises comfort and convenience for every journey. With the slogan "Your companion, for every journey," the Bolero Neo is a multi-purpose SUV tailored for Nepal’s terrain, continuing Mahindra’s legacy of reliability.

Mahindra Zoro EV: Sustainable Commercial Mobility

The event also showcased the Mahindra Zoro EV under Mahindra’s Last Mile Mobility segment, available in two variants:

  • EV Delivery Van

  • EV Pick-Up

Designed for commercial purposes, the Zoro EV is an electric vehicle with:

  • 30 kW electric motor

  • 160 km range per charge

  • 3-year or 125,000 km battery warranty

Its slogan, "Business accelerates with electric power, with Mahindra Zoro by your side," highlights its role as a cost-effective, eco-friendly solution for urban deliveries (groceries, vegetables, water, etc.).

Agni Logistics Centers: Nationwide Network

Agni Logistics Centers are strategically located in four key locations:

  1. Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Ward No. 15 – Sanobharyang

  2. Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City, Ward No. 7 – Nyuren

  3. Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City, Ward No. 1 – Aapgachhi

  4. Rupandehi (Near Bhairahwa) – Omsatiya Gaupalika, Ward No. 4 – Basantapur

All centers are situated near highways and airports, serving as hubs for major trade routes.
