Kathmandu: Landslide-Blocked BP Highway Resumes Operation
The BP Highway, which was blocked due to a landslide, has resumed operation. On Sunday morning, a landslide containing mud and debris fell in Pinthali, located in Roshi Rural Municipality-11, Kavre, obstructing the road.
SP Naresh Subedi of the Highway Security and Traffic Management Office in Chitwan informed Ratopati that the landslide was cleared using a dozer, allowing the highway to reopen.
Additionally, the road connecting Khukort (along the Mid-Hill Highway) to Katari was blocked in three places but has now been restored to operation, according to SP Subedi.
