Paras Shah's health improves, discharged from Norvic Hospital

Kathmandu, March 6 — Former Crown Prince Paras Shah has been discharged from the hospital after being admitted for four days.

He was admitted to Norvic Hospital in Thapathali, Kathmandu, on Sunday after suffering a heart attack.

According to Norvic Hospital spokesperson Ajay Mishra, Paras was discharged on Thursday morning after his health returned to normal.

Following the heart attack at his residence, Paras was taken to Norvic by his family on Sunday evening.

That same night, a stent was placed in his heart, and he was kept under special medical supervision for several days. 

Mishra confirmed, “His condition is now stable, and he has been discharged.”

Paras Shah's treatment was led by Dr. Yadav Bhatta and his team.

This is the fourth time Paras Shah has suffered a heart attack.

He previously experienced a heart attack in Magh 2075 (January 2019) and was treated at Norvic Hospital.

He has also had heart attacks while in Thailand and on another occasion.
