Man Arrested for Allegedly Killing Wife with Khukuri in Sankhuwasabha

Kathmandu. A man has been arrested on suspicion of attacking his wife with a khukuri and killing her in Sankhuwasabha. Amar Bahadur Sarki, approximately 56 years old, originally from Chainpur Municipality-07 in the district and currently residing in Madi Municipality-04, Dandagaun, has been arrested on this charge.

He is accused of attacking and killing his wife, Phulmaya Mudel, 43, with a khukuri. Police have stated that he attacked and killed his wife with a sharp weapon (khukuri) present in their own house during a domestic dispute.

Police have taken Amar Bahadur under control along with the khukuri used in the incident and have initiated the necessary investigation and legal process.
