UML Secretariat meeting scheduled for today

Kathmandu, March 2 — The Secretariat meeting of the ruling party, CPN (UML), will be held today.

The meeting, scheduled for 2 PM, will primarily discuss the ordinances brought by the government.

The Chief Secretary of the UML Central Office, Dr. Bhishma Adhikari, mentioned that the meeting would discuss topics including the ordinance.

Due to the lack of cooperation from the ruling party itself, ordinances introduced by the government led by UML Chair KP Sharma Oli have been delayed.

In the second week of January, the Cabinet meeting introduced six ordinances, including those related to land issues.

Although these ordinances were registered in Parliament, they have not been presented for decision in both houses due to the lack of a majority in the National Assembly by the ruling side.
