MP Sapkota demands resignation of PM Oli

Kathmandu, February 23 — CPN (Maoist Center) Member of Parliament, Madhav Sapkota, has demanded the resignation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Speaking during the special session of the House of Representatives on Sunday, Sapkota criticized the government’s failure, stating that Nepal's inclusion in the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list is a sign of the government's incompetence.

He emphasized that the government’s lack of commitment to financial sector reforms and negligence toward good governance have led Nepal into this shameful situation.

Sapkota argued that the government should take responsibility and pave the way for reforms.

He also expressed that the government has lost credibility and that the House of Representatives should prioritize national dignity and act decisively on this matter.
