24 Indian nationals arrested in Kathmandu for online gambling

Kathmandu, February 18 — Police have arrested 24 Indian nationals from Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu.

According to SSP Ramesh Basnet of the Valley Crime Investigation Office, the arrests were made on charges of operating an online gambling network. 

Police investigations revealed that the accused had conducted transactions worth NPR 1.64 billion.

During a raid last night at a house in Budhanilkantha, the Crime Investigation Office team seized 21 mobile phones and 38 laptops.
